Process

Registration on CPCB Portal

Create an account on the centralized CPCB EPR portal and complete entity registration with basic details.

Category Identification

Identify the applicable e-waste categories (CEEW) and Schedule I items relevant to your products.

Document Preparation

Compile all required documents including business registration, product details, and e-waste generation data.

Application Filing

Submit the EPR authorization application online with all supporting documents and prescribed fees.

Scrutiny by CPCB

The Central Pollution Control Board reviews the application and may request additional information or clarifications.

EPR Authorization Grant

Upon satisfactory review, CPCB issues the EPR Authorization certificate with specified targets and conditions.

Annual Compliance and Returns

Submit annual returns on e-waste collection, recycling, and disposal targets achieved.
